Who are we ?

Founded in 1898, the Vaud Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CVCI) is a completely private and unsubsidized association. Its operations are funded through member contributions, the sale of service, and various mandates it fulfills.

As a primary contact and advocate for companies, the CVCI supports market economy principles. It is a member of economiesuisse and the Swiss Employers’ Association. Additionally, the CVCI is part of an extensive national and international network of chambers of commerce and industry (CCI).

The CVCI is an independent association which gathers companies from all economic sectors and whose missions are the following:

    Economic and business development
We are committed to the prosperity of the Canton and its residents by promoting an economy that fully takes into consideration economic, social, and environmental issues.
    Political action

We defend and promote framework conditions consistent with the market economy, stimulating competitiveness, innovation, openness, and sustainable economic development.

We develop and provide companies with value-added services that are useful to their business and activities, remaining agile and attentive to their needs.
    Networking and Idea Exchange Platform

We prioritize the quality of our network and exchanges to bring together and promote business development as well as technological, economic, and societal transformations.
