Welcome Day
Did you recently relocate to the canton of Vaud? Or perhaps you are simply eager to learn more about the way things generally work in Switzerland?
Then the Welcome Day is for you: with presentations from different experts about adapting to a new culture, insurance and tourism, you'll be able to ask all the questions you might have.
On-site childcare will be provided, so younger participants are also welcome.
The event will be followed by a networking buffet of local specialties.
Speakers:
- Culture: Anne Guslandi – Intercultural trainer and founder of Expat Coaching Corner, Anne helps individuals and organizations navigate cultural transitions with confidence and empathy
- Insurance: Joachim Mérillat – Founder of Mérillat Consulting, Joachim also specializes in guiding newcomers through the Swiss health and social insurance systems
- Tourism: Shanna Maietti – Head of partner projects at Vaud Promotion, Shanna brings deep insight into local attractions, events, and how to make the most of your time in the region
