Visit of the Vidy-Lausanne Theatre
Built by the Swiss artist Max Bill in 1964 for the National Exhibition of the same year, the Vidy-Lausanne Theatre is going through important renovation and extension construction works. For two years, the theatre will offer shows on site but also out of the walls at the Lausanne Opera, the University of Lausanne, the Musée Cantonal des Beaux-Arts (MCBA)……
Its program provides a wide variety of contemporary creations (theatre, dance, installations, circus, shows for young audience…) from emerging as well as renowned artists from Switzerland and abroad.
We invite you to discover the Theatre on Tuesday 21st September 2021 at 12:15 pm.
12:15 – Meeting at La Baraka
12:30 – Discover the theatre and its new gathering public space La Baraka. Guided tour of the construction works.
13:15 – For those who would like to have lunch on site:
Possibility to enjoy lunch in La Baraka along with a short presentation about the 2021/22 program for multilingual audiences.
14:15 – End of the event
